The Ropes Course With Two Paths

At an adventure park, Giselle and Jared choose the fast zip line over the easy bridge first, and save the calm path for last.
Giselle and Jared went to the adventure park for Jared's birthday. They put on helmets and safety harnesses at the front gate.
A worker showed them a wooden map near the entrance. Two paths started at the same platform, high in the trees.
The first path was a low bridge with wide wooden planks. It looked steady and easy to cross.
The second path was a thin zip line between two tall towers. It looked exciting, but also a little scary.
"Which one do you want to try first?" Jared asked.
Giselle looked up at the zip line for a long time. "Let's do the zip line," she said. "We can do the bridge after."
Jared laughed. "Are you sure? That one looks fast."
"That's why I want to try it," Giselle said, smiling. "Before I change my mind."
They climbed the ladder to the platform together. A guide checked their harnesses and clipped them to the cable.
"Ready?" the guide asked.
Giselle nodded and stepped off the platform. The cable hummed as she flew between the towers. Wind rushed past her face, and she laughed the whole way across.
Jared went next, shouting with excitement halfway through the ride.
They landed safely on the other side and unclipped their harnesses.
"That was amazing," Jared said, still breathing fast.
"Now for the easy part," Giselle said. She pointed at the wooden bridge ahead. They walked across it slowly, still smiling from the ride before.
