The Wrong Group Chat Message

Idalia accidentally sends a private text meant for one friend to their whole group chat.
Idalia wants to send Colton a kind text. He fails his driving test that morning. She wants to cheer him up.
She opens their group chat by mistake. Six other friends are in that chat too. She does not notice the wrong window.
"Don't worry about the test," she types. "Try again soon. I still think you drive well."
She hits send and looks up. Then her stomach drops. She sees the chat name. It says "Friend Group," not "Colton."
Idalia stares at her phone in shock. Five people already read the message. Colton says nothing back.
Two minutes later, her phone buzzes with laughter emojis. Someone writes, "Wrong chat, Idalia?" Another friend adds three laughing faces.
Idalia feels her face turn red. She quickly sends another message. "Oops! That was for Colton. Ignore me, everyone."
Colton finally replies in the group chat. "Thanks for the support," he writes. "Now everyone knows I failed. No secrets here."
The whole group laughs, including Colton. Idalia sends him a private message this time. "Sorry about that," she writes. "Want to study together before the next test?"
Colton sends back a thumbs-up. "Deal," he writes. "But you check the chat name first this time."
The next week, Idalia double-checks every chat name. She still teases herself about the mistake. Colton brings it up at every game night.
